Sagerian South African teams do have to travel alot more because they have to travel from SA to AUS and NZ while AUS and NZ travel time is cut down because the flight between the two is much smaller. I don't see how some of you don't care about what happens, Super rugby has been around for some time now why would you not care if a tradition is broken?

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
I can't believe Shaun made a post longer than one sentence! Goodness I'm impressed! Well done on making champion by the way too.![]()

Fair call about the travelling, that means they should bugger off to the NH comps then? I have to conceed that I don't get your argument. You happily blame the distance for SA's poor records, but you want them to keep doing the same thing and not leave the S14.
No, I never blamed it on travelling... I just pointed it out to you that indeed they do travel a lot more. I did not give my opinion on why they do badly because I have run through it many a time in threads talking about the Springboks.
