I've posted a few pics in a gallery. Off to a wedding now.
Haven't got any pics.
But i can provide a bit of info about the contested training.
Game went pretty good, Academy boys put up a hell of a fight and provided good opposition for the senior boys.
Rudi Vedalago got himself 2 training tries, which capped off a great effort, Stapleton was electric on the wing, bagging himself a couple as well, Ryan Cross seemed to fit in well also with some hard runs through the center.
Overall the lads looked pretty sharp, although some moves looked a bit rusty. All in all it was a great day and the boys look promising for Feb 2.
Yes...good day.......Agree with RF....Cross looked good, Junior same, Digby dropped too many....Brownie was very incisive.
All look like they have bulked up over the off season...
Great day all around. Managed out get a lot of sigs and photos, the game was pretty good as well. Shaunmarn is at my house now and we are trying to load up some images but with some difficulty...![]()
I went, it was pretty good. I thought there'd be less waiting around for access to the players, but all in all, good. Got a few photos. Will try uploading them in a day or so.
Digby dropping a few: who'd have thought? Almost didn't recognise him with the hairdo but then I saw someone throwing him a pass and....yep, that's Diggers!
Don't worry he will be a gun in the season. His problem is he tries to do too much before he even has the ball in hand. He is trying to get round his man before he has the ball.
Every forwards dream is to become a back...
looking at him yesterday, it was obvious that he wasnt getting his hands in the correct position to catch the ball. You should have you hands facing the direction from where the pass is coming from.Very basic reallyOriginally Posted by Shaunmarn
I got halfway there and Austin chucked a massive wobbly so we turned around and went home, he has since kept me awake most of the night and now he is being a little angel, bugger it...had his jumper and shorts all ready to go...
Proudly bought to you by a brewery somewhere....
all round a very well orginised event, now lets look forward to the season proper.
