yup, although winning is obviously vital especially to a success starved team, the thought of "winning ugly" leaves me cold inside, and has never been the WA way. The coach needs to be a magician and come up with a WA way AND a successful way.
Mitchell almost had it, the style was spot on, results not so. He was hampered by start up with player quality and cohesion especially in the forwards. And also by his personality, perhaps not getting the best out of what he had?
