In other Aussie areas I have refereed they had a spot on the team sheet so the teams could rate the ref in 3 or 4 areas, the ref with the best score at the end of the year got a new pair of glasses or vouchers towards a new dog. Even if a teams marks you low, your ability as a ref will be clear over an entire season.

I agree club of the year should be there, and probably a few others.

Seems a bit light to only really have 2 awards.

Would RugbyWA give the award to one of its own employees?

After the goings on of the last week it wouldn't surprise me if the CEO gave all the trophies to himself and then said "What's wrong with that?"

Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.

Yep Ms Madeline Putz from Kala has scored 43 tries this season. Quite amazing if you consider they play less games.

    Is this a record?

I'm sure these awards are only for Premier Grade, except the best colt award.
