2010 Super 14, are we Super Rooted?

I think there are going to be a few surprises over the next 5/6 weeks.
So many people are writing the Force off. Bloody Marto is realy getting on my nerves!
They seem to forget there will be 22 guys out there who will do anything to prove themselves and one thing the Force has is guts. They have proved that since day one.
Some of these guys who are going to be stepping up over the next few weeks could or would be making appearances at some stage anyway, just earlier than planned. They would not have got to were they are if they didnt have it.
Also since some Prima Donnas have left there seems to be more of a team feel.

I hear you, the problem is that there are also 22 other guys out there with more experience, even test experience that are fit and chomping at the bit to make a name for themselves for RWC 2011 selection. Formidable comes to mind.

This is not about not supporting the Force, but I think we need to be realistic, we are most likely rooted this season

Nothing wrong with that. Look the Super rugby season is so short and you really have to be firing on all cylinders for at least 10 of the 13 weeks of competition. You cop a couple of injuries and you live with it but we've had more than a couple and some of them (Pretorius) were to be expected really, if a little soon, but others (Pocock/Cross/Brown/Bartholomeusz/Cummins) you couldn't really anticipate and throw a major spanner in the works.

The main thing for Force fans to remember is that: if we recruit well in key positions (namely 10) we are a good chance at 2010.

BB I understand and certainly agree but if any team goes out and underestimates the potential of The Team they will be in for a shock.
Yes our season is over in the sense of reaching the finals but lets upset some teams on the way. Hopefully at home!
