Spine - where did you see that information?
I have been using ticketmaster to try to find out this info. Last year all memberships for silver and above were sold.
I can get tickets easily for the first game of the season in block 135 which means that Silver is definitely not sold out this year!
I am trying to find out where I saw it, I cannot remmeber, I definitely saw something that low. Apparently almost half the members have not renewed. Sad but hopefully we see alot of public support. I am not a member, but thats because our group can never settle on the numbers and we always want to sit together. We usually have up to 10 of us or as low as 6 of us.
None of our block of 10 Gold members changed. Admittedly we are in a pretty good spot as far as Gold seats go, and I have to say the crowd are right into it where we are... Although we did get a few dirty looks early in the season by the end of the year those same people were getting all fired up with us...

Sam goes for our block...but after that 'orrible ginger nut started the one "one more try" chant and conducted the crowd from standing on his seat they couldn't help but love him...Originally Posted by Rodent

The figures that have been reported publicly was that membership was 15,000.
They kept some silver tickets last year for general ticket release, so no change there.
Looking at ticket sales on ticketmaster, we are on target to get around 34,000 for the first game of the year.

Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
I had gold last year, ground level, 5 rows from the fence, on about 22m. Utter crap, especially for gold. But, as luck would have it, a corporate box was available to me for all but the Crusaders "win" (moral win). I sat in my gold seat for that. View was rubbish, crowd in the vicinity was awesome.
I have the box again this year so just have Out Of Towner and am looking to buy better seats than my gold last year on the day if needed.
I heard 40% drop in membership, but can't remember where...
I think from memory the first four rows from the fence are nickel, might be three.
They have cheated a bit with 107 too, sitting straight on the seat you look over the tryline corner post, sitting square to the field you are more like halfway to the dead ball line.
By definition in the original offer Gold was to be from try line to try line. I would assume they have cribbed out on the other three corners as well.
As I have said before though, if everyone suddenly expects wonderful seats in a rectangular stadium you are kidding yourself, it will be just the same luck of the draw for far fewer "good" seats and many more of us will be watching from the ends.

I'm pissed off with this drop in membership, those so called fans have no faith or loyalty!![]()

Don't forget the bandwagon was pretty big last year, with a great big door to let everyone on...
...problem with big doors is they let traffic flow both ways!
(of course as soon as we start winning watch them all leap back on!)
So they are fans when we win and not when we loose...

Not neccesarily shaun, maybe they were unhappy with the seating arrangements or personal reasons, or financial reasons, there are plenty of reasons really...But lets wait and see how many rock up before we start worrying, as i believe we will still have the biggest supporter base in Australia regardless of the drop in membership numbers...Time will tell so relax little buddy...
