Staniforth is out, as is Rathbone. I'd pick either ahead of Tune if fit.
I'm torn. big fan of tuney but i do agree it's a big gamble. hopefully one that pays off though. will have to wait and see. bit unfortunate for stanners though.. does knuckles just have no faith in him at all? sheps will be back cause he's had the opportunity to prove himself which he has done.. but come on... give stanners a chance john!

I'm only going to say this one more time. Scott Staniforth is ruled out with injury.
ah so i was right! i read he was out a while ago and made a thread about it but no one seemed to know what was going on with him.
cheers for clearing that up sagerian.![]()

Any time Jess, any time.
Just waiting for more people to stand up for this grave misjustice on Stanners non-selection.
is it the hamstring? thats what i read. that it was a similar injury to rathbones. or was it the ankle? or was that rogers... hmmm i'm confused
I made Happy sad...
well thats a shame. i was wishing i had read a typo or misprint in the news on rugby heaven last week. no such luck it seems. poor stanners. any news on how long he's out for? serious injury?
I made Happy sad...
A couple of weeks is what I'd heard. So he might be available for the second Kiwi test...
hope so! It would have been awesome if he was fit and played here last saturday. in front of his home crowd. might have got an even louder cheer than sheps did when he ran on. even still... hope he gets a run on on soon. Here's wishing him a speedy recovery!
I made Happy sad...
Are you sure Sage, he's named to play Fiji on the 14th and 29th?
Can't be too serious and I haven't seen any mention of it?
Oh, just checked, and he is listed as flying to NZ as the "24th man".
"Bloody oath we did!"
