Cheika Still Wants Foley For RWC Role.
I hope he can agree this time around.

I'm not super convinced that Foley should take up the offer.
I think he's got enough on his plate with the Force, the board members of rugby WA No longer seem to want to coach the team themselves, unlike the NSWRU

If he doesn't get Foley, lets hope he gets someone to sort out the locks.
Japan and the Pacific Islands for Aussie Super 9's!
Let's have one of these in WA! Click this link: Saitama Super Arena - New Perth Stadium?
Got to agree Gigs, Foley has already done the assistant coach gig. Mostly though I can't help but think that if things go well this year Cheika will be a legend, if they go badly it somehow won't be his fault...
I think there are issues with almost every position (perhaps not Hooker)
Our props are too mobile and not effective enough in the set piece
Our locks are generally ineffective in almost every aspect of the game (some are good at one thing, but one thing only)
Our backrowers seem to want to spend all their time filling the line rather than sticking their heads into rucks.
Selection policies seem to indicate that these behaviours are desirable, since the only position with appreciable turnover of late has been the second row.
I don't know that Foles can fix that, and therefore he should concentrate on the Force until it becomes obvious he can fix the problem, which exists in senior policy makers.
