Kearns is a legend and the most sensible of all commentators - some of you guys carry some jarrah on your shoulders - there are a lot of us in the east who support the force
Thing that impressed me about the Crusaders is that they can all catch and pass very well - even the ugs (upfront grunters, or those numbered 1 to 8)demonstrated this basic skill which enables them to spread the ball wide and attack.
Our catch and pass from 1 to 15 was at best ordinary.
Our kicking game tonight was ordinary with a capital O.
It must be said though that the Crusaders are a very canny team, just check the binding in the scrum of their losehead, always puts his hand on the ground initially; how they use the 15 metre line on the lineout and how they drive their rolling maul by puttting a man in front of the ball receiver to begin the drive.
Am i too picky or do the lawmakers /referees need to take a closer look.
Best players for us today were Pocock, O'Young and Shepherd
So many players giving such a crud performance all at once.
Despite what those with other agenda may want to believe, this was more than just Crusaders are 53 points better than the Force.
Full credit to the Saders, they were awesome as always, I would say deserving about a 30-0 score line.
The other 23 was just such a pathetic display of skills by virtually the whole squad.
Miss-communication, self imposed pressure and stupid decision making for starters.
I really think this is a game that the squad and coaching staff should put on the shelf until post season.
We are and have proven we are better than that, the top four inches as Mitch referred to last year.
The few positives to take out of the match.
David Pocock.
Counter rucking.
Luke Doherty's short stint was impressive for it's hard nose edge.
Probably Ryan Cross' best defensive performance with some real bone crunchers.
Some good stuff from Rudi Vedelago.
Captain Courageous toughing it out from a shocker off the top rope!
Others will disagree I know, but I rated Jimmy Hilgendorf, especially his counter rucking.
Digby Ioane until he came into contact with anyone.
Chris O’Youngs passing (but didn't achieve anything to boast about in his fight with Henjak)
I guess the scrum did ok at times, the Frontrow held their own except for the (2?) tightheads...
I'm sorry, but the rest sucked big time for mine.
The sooner we get Staniforth, Pusey and Henjak back the better.
Desperately needed Staniforth in the Centers tonight to hit the line at pace and not cough up the pill!!!
Hope they have an early bus/flight out of Christchurch, they'll all be coming out of the woodwork now....

Sounds like a pretty craptacular effort by the Force. Its seems so odd a result that I would be quietly confident the wont play that way for the rest of the season. If the Chiefs are next then they better be wearing brown undies as I think the Force will steam roll them.

yea what a shocker they walked all over force. i hope that performance doesnt carry onto next week. i think there forwards and backs walked all over our forwards and backs. if we make the top 4 i hope were not playing there again.
This game shows us the Force lack real grunt up front. We need a Huge, mean, fast, mongrel #8.Where we can get one from is another matter
Have been pretty underwhelmed by Fava for a few weeks now, hope he pulls his finger out as he certainly wouldn't be in Wallaby contention on current form.

ahahahahaha, all I have to say about this game is at least when we had 5 minutes left we new we were going to lose! we didnt have our hearts ripped out an kicked all over the floor!!! and it prooves that the crusaders eserve to be up the top and we possibly arent top 1 or 2 material just yet! but .... they didnt give up even when we really didnt have a chance!
I still love ma boys, hope cannon comes out ok!

If this isnt a choke then its a swallow....
The Waratahs had at least secured their semi spot and rested a bunch of players. You can thank Bob Dwyer for that stroke of genius.
But still, as I said at least the Waratahs had secured their semi spot before they collapsed, and it just reinforces my signature.
Oh, and the Waratahs were able to score some points at least.
