Well, I'm in two minds as to whether the timing is lousy or not. I think it's lousy from the perspective that it's the start of the season and we soon play the Brumbies, but on the other hand maybe it's better to have it out in the open and stop all the pointless and inane speculation.
Success is not final, failure is not fatal:
it is the courage to continue that counts.

goodbye and good luck...he was always off, there can be no surprise about his decision only the timing just before the EWF head to brumbieland....

Hi - newbie here. Anyone else think Giteau leaving is good news???
Not that the announcement was a surprise to me (the timing was bad), but if anything the Force have gone backwards since 2007. How many times have Force fans, particularly at home, seen the Force give a good account of themselves, even with Giteau, Mitchell etc??? Last years' game agasint the Crusaders is probably the only one I can remember. Since then, including the latter portion of last year, the team looks to be playing rugby-by-the-numbers, without a plan B, or sometimes even a plan A.
Giteau is a brilliant player, but i can't help thinking that is tenure at the Force was hardly covered in glory? Although judging by the efforts of the players around him over the past year or so, not sure what he could have done to change things around himself - one player doesn't make a team.
maybe now the Force can get on with developing some new talent, and instead of blowing another few $$million, they can poach a few new faces.
Oh, and develop another gameplan that doesn't see Giteau feature in every move, and one where the other 14 players on the field have to step up?
Shame but the Force is more than one man.
Maybe we can get Dan Carter as our marque player.lol
Bring back Hilgy!
Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
Hey James, been reading the blog for a little while, just wanted to add my 2 cents worth on Gits.
We can sure afford him now!
Can you imagine the two little jimmiys playing first and second five behind a pack that's moving forward......that'd be insane!
All they'd have to do is swap position at random times and they'd be virtually unstoppable!
C'mon the
