My sweet Normie,
I had only just met you but it felt like I had known you forever. You were always so kind to me and when I first saw you, your beaming smile blew me away. I can't believe you are gone and that we will not be able to meet for that coffee we said we would have together soon, or go out together on New Year's Eve as we had planned, or see Meelup Beach together at sunset.
I am going to miss you so much. Til we meet again, rest in peace my love.

"Bloody oath we did!"
Nathan Sharpe, Legend.
I unfortunately didn't get to meet Normie. But I too am saddened by his loss.
Perhaps - with the permission of his family - we could name the Punting or Tipping trophy in his honor, a good guy like Normie should be remembered.

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
i cant even process this.
such a senseless tragedy. deepest sympathies and condolences to his family.

Normie RIP.
I never meet you but felt I knew you. My thoughts are with your family.
May the FORCE be with you!
We often read about different tragedies and there's always a sense of sadness for the victims and their friends and family. In this case it hit much harder because Normie has been a big part of the TWF family. The last 20 post were very difficult for me to read. Although I never met him personally it was very easy to tell that he was a good, funny, gentle man. Those of you who got to meet him, even recently for the first time, are very lucky.
My thoughts and prayers are with his kids, family, and with you his friends. God Bless you all.
Vale Normie, I never met him, but based upon his posts, I'm sure I would have liked to spend an afternoon drinking and shooting the shit.
C'mon the![]()

I am going to miss him so, so much. I am numb with grief and can't stop crying.
Life is so precious. Live each day as if ii's your last and tell those you love just how much you love them, every single day.
