Proudly Western Australian; Proudly supporting Western Australian rugby
Which one is Zed's girlfriend?
Brilliant, I also think we should consider the next step and have our Schoolboys play Craven week. We can get quality players at a significant discount, bringing our reliance on Eastern States and Kiwi players into a bit more balance. However, they do need to be channeled into Aussie clubs that have Kiwis and Saffas well integrated. Saffas can take the easy option and stick in their own group and really not add value to our community.
I haven't overly got an issue with bringing in South African or Kiwi fringe players to improve the force or the local comp as long as it isn't to the detriment of local players.
I would hate to think that aspiring players of talent will not be selected in favour of an import of lesser or equal ability and given the nod on the belief that overseas players are ''better'' than what we can produce here at home
I'm hoping the fact there are 4 locals in the main squad next year (the most ever) shows they're just widening the net overall. Of course 2 of those 4 players had to be brought back but hopefully that won't be the case in future. If this new Super B competition is done right it should open up some new opportunities.

On one hand you don't want this to happen, yet on the other you need to show local talent where the bar is. A few months back I saw le petite general asked a similar question about French Rugby. His response was " The best way to stop these foreign invaders is for French players to get better", so it is a real problem around the globe.
