He is one player, granted he is a fantastic player but so is Pocock and his return to club rugby didn't help Uni beat Soaks.

There is a principle in all of this. Soaks useless Force second rower didn't help them in any of the games he played, but at least the rules allowed him to play in qualifying games.

Exactly. It is the principle of the application (or bending) of laws to suit.

Soaks' "useless second rower" didn't return from International playing duties to play club rugby either. He's not quite the same standard as Pocock or Brown, no offence to him.
I understand the bit about having him return just in time to play for a finals match and him not playing during the regular season, but aren't all clubs allowed to bring back whoever they want/is fit/can get? Could Wanneroo not get Hodgo in, he's not in the line up for Wallabies this week?

Could you not bring him back for Sunday? I know that's unrealistic but aren't all clubs given the same opportunity to bring back players if they can?

I have never seen Brown take a club game remotely seriously, but if he ever plays a game for cott properly it will be in a finals game .

He will make a huge difference if he even plays at 80%. He can injure anyone he wants, get turnovers whenever he wants and probably break the line whenever he wants. Im not saying we are crap but after playing against SA, Rugby WA first grade will seem like an U12's game too him.

It is unfair if he doesn't muck around like usual in club rugby.

Sure. But only if they have played the number of games needed to qualify for the finals and Brown has not.

Yea, if he is intending of winning them the game he shouldn't play because it is extremely unfair if the Roodogs miss out and he has scored 2 tries.

To qualify for the finals a player must have played 6 qualifying games in the grade he is to play finals in, or in a lower grade.

Brown simply does not qualify, If he missed the last qualifying game because of "International Duties" their might be a case for the application of the dispensation, but there is no tribunal in the world that would allow a dispensation when the player has not played any game at all. It makes a mockery of the competition.

Why should Wanneroo have to go chasing their Force allocated players because Cottesloe has breached the laws in regards to Player Qualification?

I don't see how this is fair, one for the poor bastard who will miss out and two for the opposition who will play them.

There is a rule that allows Force players to only have to play three games to qualify. He hasn't even played one as far I know.

I'll promise you this, if he does play, the loser of Nedlands and Palmyra will be filing their papers on Monday morning.

For goodness sake get some proper legal advice and don't let the bastards bluff you.
Pretty sure Brown hasn't played for any side in the Shute shield. I might have missed it but I keep an eye on all the Force players playing and I don't recall having seen his name. He's played pretty much every test (either as a starter or on the bench) and so hasn't needed the game time.

I'd say let him play. He's hardly in top form and won't be as efficient working with a pack he hasn't played with or under a game plan he hasn't played under. Besides that, people complain if the Force players don't play for the local clubs and now some will complain if they do. I know the situation has varied a bit being finals but pick one and stick with it.
