Kala 19 - Cott 40

Kala boys were very flat for this game and got a 2nd half lesson on how to play the basics well. Kala also went completely away from their own gameplan with the lack of structure leading to dumb mistakes. Lots of missed tackles and ruck penalties compounded things.

Chertubler, I really try not to bite, and with some clever TWF posters I can even see what they're getting at with their obviously and deliberately 'parochial' view of things.

You on the other hand come across as a perennial whinger with a chip on your shoulder, who sees no good in what volunteers are trying to do (yes, most often it is refs, and as a ref I get tired of reading many things from you and am indirectly or even directly implicated).

Dinky Di summed it up best a few days ago, about having a dedicated thread for disgruntled or wronged twf'ers so they can bitch and moan about refs (whether deserved or not), without spoiling it for everyone.

I take exception to you, you are either a bully or were bullied, you are inconsistent yet your default is to bitch about others.

Grow a pair, come up to a ref after a game and face them, give a reason as facts for your seemingly random and often predictable view of the world (or refs).

I'm more than happy for you to private message the day before a game, and if I'm reffing at your venue I will acknowledge myself as I expect of you. We will then sit together and watch games (perhaps I'm reffing a Prems or other grade the same day) - you can the give me your interpretation of where the ref screwed up.

I'm big enough to admit when I'm at fault - can you offer to do the same ?

And 'chatting' and 'having a beer' with refs doesn't count as giving them the benefit of your experience, opinion, or fact-based findings, or make you less than what I've accused you of. As I've alluded to, I find you a bully or victim, and expect you to provide justification rather than rant - I'm a ref after all !

I don't bitch when I get a response. I'm just pointing out what you are like! As Sprog said, you must have a chip on your shoulder! You always complain about the ref when Rocky is loosing. Like I said stop looking at it through your purple glasses. Maybe then you will realise that the refs are not as bad as what you thought.

Most refs at premier grade is up to standard.

And when I told you to step up, I meant go and ref a game. Being a volunteer at a club for 30 years does indicate why you are so one eyed!

I'm simply interested in what weight and evidence your opinion carries and is based on.

From where I sit, I've never seen anything that gives credence to your posts, although others have recently pointed out and copied TWF extracts where your opinion has changed, even about the same game, from one week to the next.
