Cheers, but believe me he can run hard when he is injury free and I have seen him bust through tacklers a la Lomu on many occasions.
BLR, in 2006 at barely 18 years of age he played for Palmyra in the Singapore 7's. This is a highly respected 7's competition with many proviincial players and national representative taking part. Some national squads such as Japan Thailand USA Malaysia Fiji development, Australia development etc are involved as well as club sides such as Ponsonby NZ.
The kid played out of his skin, scoring in every game, sometimes several times. In one game he powered over the line to score from 30 metres out, carrying three Randwick first graders hanging off him but unable to bring him down. Once he got moving he was almost unstoppable, and he knew how to fend off a tackle like the best of them.
The only criticisim I had of him was, as you say , he was a lazy tackler, but he was devestating when he decided he wanted to tackle.
The scouts were all over him with chequebooks and promises.
that being the case...someone tell him to htfu and get him into force colours!
coz Stone Cold says so
Fulv and others, watched Randwick v Warringah today.
Ratu absolutely ran amok scoring four tries by the sixty minute mark and being a near miss on about three other occasions.
He certainly lived up to the "Lomu" tag today, literally bouncing tacklers off in front of him, as in return to sender like a kangaroo on a bullbar!
Was an absolute wrecking ball leaving them in his wake.
Here's hoping that he still likes the West Coast when he's ready to step up to S14 discipline!
