I know it would be ideal if we had our own website but in reality, it's ISC's website and they do the merch for both shops and from their point of view it's easier to just have the one website maintained by Seane and Damo (manager of the reds store).

We just have to do what we're told.

As for the technical issues with the site... that's what we'll be working on all next week. Putting our new accessories up and making sure all the links work and have the right pics etc.

In hindsight I should have waited until it was perfect before I started advertising it... but I was just too darn excited. Maybe I should put it into a bit of perspective...

For as long as I've been here the website has been shocking. It had lots of stock we have never had and will never stock, old apparel we've sold out of and all the wrong sizing etc. It stunk to the high heavens essentially. I would get so many calls about the website and have to apologise numerous times when the customer would want something we don't actually have. If I had to here 'but it's on the website' one more time...

And then all our online orders started going to the Reds store... oh what a joyful time that was.

So now we have a site that we're in control of and we have access to the internal workings so we can put everything we stock online for online purchasing.

It's only 2 days old and we haven't had a chance to sit down and really test it all out yet but I promise we will and we'll do our best to make it the best site it can be with as few complications as possible.

But sadly we can't do a thing about it being a joint website. Please don't hold that against us.

Of course I know it's nothing personal TQ1.

This feedback is priceless and so any problems anyone has, please don't hesitate to pop them in this thread and we'll do what we can to make the problem go away.

Larry... I just pretty much verbalised what Seane would say.. with less emoticons and exclamation points.

He runs a good show around this place.

Jess - when I saw it I honestly knew that it was a HUGH improvement for both U and the customers - also having been involved in a couple of rollouts - I know that the quicker you know what the problems are then the easier and cheaper it is to get em sorted.

Also am beginning to appreciate that the customers on/from this site are probably more FORCE friendly than a lot of the others - so I wouldn't regret us knowing about it - suspect that's part of the reason a lot of us enjoy hanging out here anyways is because we do want to know about stuff from the start.

Again the biggest criticism I have is that Force Fans will want Force Stuff not Reds Stuff and will want to buy from the Western Force Superstore - not mercendaise.com - so an address like WesternForceSuperStore@mercandise or sim would be wise - also it would help target offers and promos - all you would need is a simple question on the subscribe page asking what store would you like receive offers from etc.. or would you like both ?

Well done to all the Super Store Staff - your efforts have ensured that we are committed to your success and hopefully a stress free interface with some of the more insane members of the public who may visit you.
