A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

We were running extremely low on backs for the last two games this season so having a new outside back is great for depth. Cummins still has another year on his contract and will still get some good game time and Dane I think only turns 20 next year so maybe injuries aside he is still a bit too young.

Player lists are one of the hardest things for Rugby managers. If everyone is healthy you have too many players and so deserving players are going to miss out. But get a few injuries and extra players are invaluable.

These things have a habit of getting worked out through injury or player rotations though. If everyone is healthy next year not really sure how they are going to fit them all in. Pelessasa, Cross, O'Connor, Staniforth, Cummins, Mitchell, Shepherd, Daruda, DH-P, do we still have Sare? and now Caleb Brown. All these guys and only 5 positions.

I'd imagine that it would be 11 Mitchell, 13 Cross, 14 Staniforth, 15 Shepherd and then either O'Connor or Pelessasa for 12. And the others might rotate getting bench spots. Of course if we end up with injuries like this year everyone will get a chance by the end of the season.
