A little research from the bookie:-

1998 - The first Rugby test at Subi in the tri-nations.

Springboks come direct to Perth for the first game of the series. On a wet and windy night they win by 14-13. Could have been anyones game from memory.

2001 - The Springboks lobbed into Perth after 2 home games at home in South Africa.
Australia arrived in Perth after games at Loftus in SA and the following week in Dunedin in NZ

    Draw 14-14

    2004

Springboks had been to NZ then back to Perth.
Wallabies has been to NZ the week before.

    Aus 30 SA 26

    2005

South Africa 2 home games then came to Perth.
Australia had been to South Africa then to Sydney and week later in Perth

    SA 22 - Aus 19

As for when South African teams play on their way home the tend to get an awful fright or get beaten (except for the Stormers 2008)

    I rest my case.

A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

Like two kids arguing in an empty playground.

Chook: "No. My Dad can beat their Dad"
