Its good to see that he is going to stay in league he is one of the best players at the moment.
I wouldn't personally like it, RU is my first preference and I want him to stay. Maybe a few real die hards might get upset but not many others, I think. It would be his choice to do what's best for him. In any event, it's not likely - they couldn't possibly afford him. T
The situation here is different from all other Rugby countries in that RL is the most popular of the two by a good margin. A lot of our best backs play RL. The professional coaches seem to agree and don't see many obstacles to educating them in the intricacies of Rugby Union. The skills are already there.
It's not ideal, having to raid the NRL ranks to fill the Wallaby back line. But it's no use the ARU (or anyone) else wishing it were different. It's the pro era and there's no going back. They are in a competitive business, they need to get the best players available to compete with the likes of the AB's and Saffas and it's just a case of numbers that a fair few of them are gonna come from RL.

I agree with alot you have said, personally I feel all Union players should play a season of league, it certainly helps with your tackling.
