Burger was rated international player of the year, a few years ago. I doubt he would've gotten that title if he was as you say he is TOCC.

He can play, he just can't think.

Besides, Sharpie got the Eales medal a few years ago despite every man and his dog in Australia going on about how crap he is....

Then maybe he needs to look at his tackling and fix it. Punching someone in the face isn't part of the rules and tackling someone else only to result in a broken neck isn't really part of the game either.

I wouldn't welcome him to Australian rugby for the fact that for me he is not a good representation of the game. For him to have

and to resort to punching the opposition in the face (which he undeniably did last week) I don't thats a good representation of the rugby played in Australia.

i meant he has probably sustained more injuries then injuring anyone else while on the field if that makes sense

The fact that old mate injured himself more in an attempt to tackle Drew in the air the other week doens't render the action itself any less dangerous to either player, and I'd venture there was less malice behind that incident than Burger's wayward fists.

I dont recall seeing anyone on here setting out to change your mind.

Unfortunately he deserves his reputation as a thug and cheap shot exponant, he gets sin binned or sent off every 2nd game. He is a knob and my opinion is that Australian Rugby does not need someone like that.
