it could do, that flight simulator is addictive

I saw that actually, and i dont usually watch alot of mythbusters. I love Air Crash Investigation on is it Discovery channel??

Its just a long standing joke that taking off and flying is easy, but landing isn't.

Would my 22 hours in a real plane count as well?

Probably would, but flying an airliner is very different from flying a trainer.

I've spent more time jumping out of real airplnes than actually flying them!

But I can boast a couple of military types, including a CT4, and HS748 (managed about 40 minutes in the 748, all on ap)

Chuck Norris has the greatest Poker-Face of all time. He won the 1983 World Series of Poker, despite holding only a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.

    Your not wrong

But I have done tours of airlines at Perth airport (at night when their is a few different models of plane in for maintanence or cleaning) both in Year 12 and again post school.

I've even sat in the pilots seat of an A330 and had the pilot run me throught how to fly it. A monkey with basic training could fly that aircraft.

In high school I even flew "jump seat", which is a small fold up seat behind the pilot, that when unfolded actually slots you right between pilot and co-pilot (captain and first officer), went through pre-flight checks, fuel and weight load outs, visual inspection and sat through the flight in the cockpit. Then turned around and did it all again.

Im not saying i'm a qualified pilot, but aviation is a pet interest for me.

I flew an actual 727 simulator about 15 years ago when my wife worked for USAir. Everytime I was able to get it off the ground without much trouble. Once in the air I always got lost! The screen was only night time. The engineer would have to help me find the runway and I crashed everytime on landing. It was a very fun afternoon and it felt just like the real thing. While flying around the engineer would hit a button and all of a sudden you'd be in a storm or rough winds. Very cool!
