Hm. I think fullback, purely for his kicking. I don't watch AFL, so I know nothing about the guy. Also, I know nothing about the GAME gayfl, so I have no idea why I also think inside centre... Is that just a queer idea? Would an AFL game suit inside centre?

In theory, I'd put him in the thirds He's got a lot to learn before S14 rugby is an option for him (and yes Bronski I AM trying to keep an open mind today. Timana Tahu sucked out loud in his first year of rugby after coming from league, Ryan Cross didn't make the transition smoothly and he was a rugby schoolboy. Given the relative similarity between rugby and league, I'd suggest there's at least a couple of years acclimatisation to be made before he's a credible option for a genuine guernsey.....I'd hate to see a Michael Jordan Baseball thing happen, it'd cheapen the team way too much....But there you go. Stick him at fullback for a local club team for a season or two and see how he copes.....After an apprenticeship in rugby at a sensible level, trial him like any other recruit!
Personally I reckon that his body would give out before he made a sufficient transition to be valuable....but it's your hypothetical so I'll leave it at that!

Fullback as main position, however the concept of a good kicking inside centre should never be discounted. I'm not sure how Cousins quick handball ability and being able to get arms free in tackles in afl, would translate to quick offloads in rugby..

He can kick and run well enough but he is used to forward passing & at fullback he would hopefully be doing a majority of running, therefore less chance of a slip-up forward pass.
But he shouldn't be handed a spot on a silver platter just because he's Ben Cousins, he needs to work his way up the ranks first.
