heyneke meyer is reportedly considering leaving leicester and has had great success with them and the bulls.
Are you his Manager?
How could he take onwhen he couldn't handle the Leicester Tigers?
I think hes got more on his plate then he can handle at the moment.
Leicester Tigers fly-half Derick Hougaard says head coach Heyneke Meyer had been under tremendous pressure before his return to South Africa on compassionate grounds.
Meyer had been trying to guide Tigers while looking after his three young children in Leicester, as his wife remained in South Africa at the start of his tenure offering support to her seriously-ill parents.

sorry that's the only one I can think of who is available and better than what we already have.
61 years between Grand SlamsWas the wait worth it - Ya betta baby
david nucifora....( i have mentioned this in a previous post!)
The last time i saw Meyer, his was smoking durries and drinking alcolohic bevvies in the Canberra Casino after the Bulls touched up the Brumbies at Bruce Stadium a few years back while on a InnForcers tour. Upset result and the buggers were stoked. The majority of the more deeply conservative playing group, stayed back at the Crowne Plaza, while our man was firing along with a few Wallabies and TWF crew, punting merrily.
He knows his stuff and barring his pedigree, i'd be more than happy as he a option.( it isnt going to happen).
the punters friend..... stick with me and you will be wearing
john mitchell. PERIOD
I dunno Meyer may have had some good years but he's had some shitty ones too. His style is the complete opposite of how I would want the Force to play and the complete opposite of whats probably best for them.
Brian Smith, Pat Howard or Scott Johnson would top my list.
For you KQ, how does this sound:
9. Valentine
10. Giteau
11. Shepherd
12. Staniforth
13. Cross
14. Mitchell
15. J'OC
Bench- O'Young, Daruda, Cummins.
I'd like to see how it went just once at least. Shep seemed to play better in 2007 at wing (more tries) than in 2008. J'OC can still be a ball player while still keeping a solid defensive midfield. Between them Daruda and Cummins can cover every spot from 10-15.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
There you go again Bronski- Always with the nay saying - you have to be the most negative fan of any team on the history of the planet.
I bet the sky is falling in your part of the world.
Always with the negativity.
Do you read the horoscopes every morning and only get out of bed if its bad news?
I guess you could call yourself a glass half empty kind of a dude, right?

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
Your timing is a smidge out BB; although I'm all for the contentious topic -one that stimulates lively debate, stirs the emotions and usually generates lots of creative ideas - I have to say its a topic I would like to see go away for a wee while-
Its so unthinkable I don't want to think about it!
Hopwever, my un-thought is John Wellborn would get an interview for the gig if he applied...
Speculating on a replacement means your not giving solving the current problem 100% attention, reduces the chance of finding a solution.
This IS the second time Bronski has tried to begin this discussion....what's wrong Bronsk, did Mitch steal your lolly?
C'mon the![]()

Maybe Bronski doesn't like bald dudes - look out GIGS - he will try and get rid of you next!

There's one bald Coach I know of who's the subject of a takeover bid by his own spouse ...
I don't have any great difficulty running hypotheticals.
If you don't think Mitch is going anywhere (like me) then just change the circumstance of him no longer being available, run over by a bus, sick mother whatever.
I know BB is Captain Pessimistic and he actually thinks it is going to happen, but it doesn't really do that much harm to speculate on a hypothetical.
No different to wondering who would be out there if one of our two Hookers gets a season ending injury as happened with the Brumbies.
And yes, I can't believe I'm supporting BB![]()

Hmmm to smite or not to smite.......
Nah you're right with the hypotheticals Burgs, but really, I don't want to think about this one unless I absolutely have to......of course if I do have to, I'm pretty sure there won't be enough time to go throught he thought process properly before an announcement is made!
