I've also noticed that. Last night was the first time I saw a Force ad on tv but it didn't mention anything about this week's game just that tickets can be bought through ticketmaster and you can become part of the force behind the Force.
They have the same thing on the radio but its only recent, the league game has been advertised for frequently for longer.
RugbyWA don't seem to have much of an advertising budget when it comes to promoting games or membership. Using the 'Commit Now' video would have worked a treat for increasing memberships but it was only ever on the news as a sports segment not as an advertisement.

Oh, so you're taking the piss Chiselhead. I might have known.

Anyway, the banjo is a much maligned musical instrument, thanks to that stupid movie, and attitudes such as your don't help us officionados in trying to promote its appreciation and forms.

The WA Banjo Club (of which I was a secretary a few years ago) has spent thousands of hours, let alone dollars in trying to get modern Allegheny Blues off the ground here, and all it takes is one cynic, without a musical bone in his body, to set us backwards.

    Thanks mate.

I am happy to become the director of the Western Force marketing team. They suck at it

The minileague match is also at MES

I was going to post this yesterday but then a Force ad came on during the Cricket. Only problem with the ad was it didnt tell anyone when the Force were actualy playing. Mate of mine who usually goes to 3 or 4 games a season didnt even know that the Force were playing at home this week

Last Monday or tuesday when I was on my way home from the Beach the idiots on 6PR sports central spoke about the League game for about 10-15 minutes, had to bloke in charge of League in WA on as well (Bill Nosworthy or something along those lines)

I know this is a big event for the Local Leagies but cmon RugbyWA lift ya game, i have seen bugger all promotion of the game on Friday, I heard an ad on the Radio on my way to work. Rugby fans might know when the game is on friday. But what about the average League game for about 10-15 minutes, had to bloke in charge of League in WA on as well (Bill Nosworthy or something along those lines)

    This news is nothing new!!

Either the EWF, the ARU and SANZAR are useless at promoting or they don't think it is necessary!!! I think they are useless at it to tel you the truth!

I love rugby so they don't need to make me interested, it is everyone else.

For some reason S14 advertising is seriously no existent!!! At least in this state.

No idea who is the advertising/marketing person behind the EWF but they aren't doing such a great deal. A few ads on TV doesn't do it!! I think they should have had a EWF start of season opening ceremony or something!!!

I know some marketing people who would be great for a position at EWF, they couldn't do any worse.

Ok thats me done for my EWF bashing for the day. Sorry had to be said!

I wonder if they have been more vague with a desire to get more seasonal memberships rather than focusing on match by match and only getting weekly support?

Currently the advertising seems to "preach to the converted" a little.

If the advertising budget is low, perhaps they should think radio. Seems to be the approach the Reds are taking.

I just heard an ad on 96fm, it was actually really good... caught my attention, probably because the words WESTERN FORCE stood out. it was very descriptive about where the game was, what time, who was playing and how to get your tickets so covered most bases

Maybe they are being careful, too. If they get "too many" at Spewbi, then they have to pay more to WAFC.

The Reds have had ad's on TV for some time now, at least in regards to this weeks NRL trial game at MES
