Fantasy rugby points don't mean that much. He was the form fullback behind Chris Latham for the past two seasons. I've seen Gerrard play some absolute shockers.

Sheps is fat and mentally scarred from his injury. It will take 3-4 games to run into a bit of fitness and get some confidence back.

I agree with Scotty, Shep did well, mostly under the high balls, and many more players need to look to the team spirit. Mind you the ref was not so flash.

I thought Shep was Ok... he wasnt flash and no doubt fluffed a sitter when he decided not to try pick up the rolling ball after his break early in the Game and also slipped up on an important tackle that led to a try but he was far from the worst in the team.

His hands were good and his positional awareness ensured all the big gaps at the backwere covered, he also put in some huge hits that everyone seemed to have missed.
