Haven't seen the game yet, doing that tonight. Looking forward to it now though, 'coz i've been waiting a while to see what Ioane could offer at 13.
Ioane steals centre stage

THE Reds may have stumbled onto something special in their narrow 27-25 loss to the Stormers in Cape Town on the weekend, with coach Phil Mooney likely to continue his experiment with Test winger Digby Ioane at outside centre.
Mooney was forced to switch his strike weapon into 13 at the last moment at Newlands, when Charlie Fetoai was forced out with a shoulder problem. Fetoai should be fit to play next Sunday against the Cheetahs, as should the Reds first-choice outside centre Morgan Turinui but so well did Ioane perform in the midfield that he might well stay there....
i dont think Ioane was overly spectacular at outside centre, if anything he was underutilised, the times he did touch the ball was when he moved out of position to chase the ball..
In saying that, defensively he stood up very well and he didnt make any mistakes at least.
It wasnt too bad a game (watched it via iinet yesterday). Didnt think Digby did that much really.
