In the mud and rain of Industrial South Wales, you have to be massive. It's up the jumper and up the middle and the hoist. The weather doesn't allow any other tactic.
I played a season in England. It was dead set ordinary. Training was at minus 3 with about minus 20 with the wind chill. It was usually pissing down rain. The welsh are 'ard. respect brother!

FFS leave the kid to play the rugby.
There's been whinging about players announcing their move during the season and now he's saying let me play the rugby and let them sort it out and I'll let you know later. He's focussed on his rugby and thats what we are after at the moment...So let him get on with it.

O'Connor could earn big $$$ and get a starting position.
If he has the bottle for it, he'll stay.
It seems he misses his mum, his hairdresser and wants to be spoon fed..............so he'll be leaving too.
I'm already over it. Time to raid the saffers. They love WA.
No more recruiting eastern states gimps......they're as bad as mungoes. Recruit from the west...the far west

Reckon he should stay - Mitchell's team of coaches have discovered/nutured the most recently, Mitch and Deans seem to like the same player characteristics, the Tahs have got to be playing the most boring style of rugby at the moment - the defensive aspect of the game does not win punters - and punters means prizes.

When was the last time a Waratahs fly-half made the Wallabies?

When was the last time a South African fly-half was any good?

Please wait before all this starts. At least let the boy sign with a club before the abuse starts.

A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

Mat Rogers played a fair few at 10 yeah. For some reason that slipped my mind. Maybe it was repressed. I don't think Rogers was ever anything more than a super-sub.

It didn't work out with Rogers he wasn't a fan of passing the ball... as he was an instinctive league run at the opposition player... However he did keep the opposition on their toes…

Since ella you have at least had S Bowen, M Edmonds and R Kafer to name a few, pretty sure there have been plenty more as well

Kafer may have been born in NSW, like the majority of the Brumbies, but I doubt he'd be too impressed with being labelled a Waratah player.

Doubt Kurtley Beale is a fan after his little "chalk board" critique yesterday, either.

    But it was certainly interesting!

All good if it identified something that had slipped under the radar previously and gave KB something to work on. But that it could have gone unnoticed, or reflects the style of play, would not be so encouraging for any young player thinking of going to the Tahs to develop their game!
