About time they talked about this again, be good to see the best 30 out there gee what a line up... where does one begin..... There shoudl be afew force boys on the fringe of being involved...... anyone game to put a two teams togther?
Actually, I would be most interested in this match if they took the descriptions at face value and didn't play all the "definites" i.e both sides would be playing for maybe 10 touring spots...
oh! i like that. should be the guys on the edge of the wallabies squad, and the guys who haven't been in contention for the wallabies split between the two sides.
that will probably be the case, i cant imagine Deans would be willing to risk his top players prior to the EOYT, on top of that there are a usually at least 4 or 5 that are in rehab prior to the spring tour.
rather then going probables vs possibles, maybe they should just allign some of the states, like QLD/ACT vs NSW/WA
What other opportunity will there be for our fringe players to get a run this year if there is no aus a team.
Aus A in the PNC was helpful last year because it kept the fringe players fit in case they needed to be called up.
Someone in the aru is not thinking....
Hang on mate, you can't slip that shit in there without SOMEBODY calling you on it.....the only way I can see that concept working is WA/QLD vs NSW/ACT.......Neither WA or QLD would even consider teaming up with the 'Tahs, and why should they, most of the Force team comes from Qld anyway and they'd probably work pretty well together, the Brumbies seem to draw their players from 95% of NSW (just ask Mudskipper, he can post that map thingy he's tossing on over most of the time) so they're obviously not too fussy.
Should be a far more interesting match too, the Forwards of the Waratahs, with the backs of the Brumbies, matching the all out awesomeness of theand the Reds. It has potential!
