Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Give it to South Australia - they have plenty of larger venues - or even Hindmarsh at 16K capacity if a dedicated rectangle is required? Better weather, fewer politicians ...

Weather has nothing to do it... It’s about reward... And respecting a rugby heartland and its long-term significance…

Another astute action by the ARU management in 2009, along with the overseeing of the administration conduct of the new 5th S15 province and the future annual auditing of all provincial financial records and their third party player contracts… Where no province can circumvent their future financial transparency…

They're doing a good thorough job... The weather is of no consequence…it happens…

ARU CEO John O'Neill ...“There is no doubt the time is right to take a Test back to the nation’s capital.

“Canberra has had a major presence in Australian Rugby since the advent of professionalism.

“The Brumbies have been the most successful of our Super Rugby franchises and, with two titles, remain the only Australian team to have carried off the most coveted provincial championship in the game.”

When oi were lad, cold meant Nuffin to us. Ice on ground were looxury.
It were so cold on our paddock that after game coach would take team naked into meat freezer to raise body temperatures ....

    ---------- Post added at 23:19 ---------- Previous post was at 23:06 ----------

It were so cold that all players wore rope over shoulder attached to wrist like James O'Connor, so that player wouldn't accidently tooch willi and snap it off.
I were only player to snap it off despite rope, when I accidently tooched willi while scratchin me nose.
