Channel Nine Schedule for WA on Sunday

Channel Nine:

11am to 1pm - The Sunday Footy Show.
1pm to 2pm - The Wildlife Man Featuring David Ireland (REPEAT).

Just for interest I had a squizz at Win TV's schedule. They are showing the Test live going head-to-head with Fremantle and the Swans. Then following up with the Sunday NRL going up against Brisbane & Geelong. They do it with the Sunday NRL every week, in fact. The people at WIN and their advertisers must be very bad business people. Everyone knows the Rugby codes don't rate in WA.

I would have thought there were way more Rugby/NRL followers per capita in the Perth metro than there are in the regions too.

I think in most states we should all just get used to the idea that to stay at home to watch Rugby Union live you have two options, pay for the Fox live broadcast or "buy" live online streaming. Otherwise deal with the delayed retransmission of the Fox HD broadcast through Channel Nines SD channel. (Is this a Packer CMH stake in Nine Entertainment Co. in play?)

Channel Nine as Channel Seven has no respect for the live telecast of international sports that don't, in there terms, rate highly enough in some states. No matter what commercial station gets the Rugby Union broadcast contract, this type of debate will always be the same in states outside Qld and NSW.

Saw that and it still will not make a blind bit of difference.
They have the rights and will only show it live in NSW/Qld and NT.

I do agree, however, i just think we should acknowledge they are treating us slightly better than 7.

After years of being given week old rotting scraps, we're now being "treated" to relatively fresh and tasty scraps!
