My Qld friends seem to think Harris has re-signed for the Reds.
Will be interesting to see how they all go under RG's coachship.

Sorry TOCC there is no way they are all playing for peanuts and love of the jumper, that's bullshit. One primary example being Lucas who signed after Genia announced for Force but before backflip. And Taps would have been offered a fortune by Rabble and Force. When you consider the amount spent just on Genia and Cooper it's impossible. And that's not even factoring in Wobbly standard forwards (or even SFaingaa hehe)

Maybe they are under the salary cap and the rest is made up in 3rd party sponsorship deals.
Not sure if theres a cap on 3rd party deals but im sure there's protocols with the club supposedly having no involvement with the dealings.
I'm pretty sure there is, limiting the number of third party payments that can me made and the size of the payments.......of course that doesn't mean they haven't stitched up cushy jobs with non sponsors of the reds "off their own bat" possibly they picked up a business card that was lying around the change rooms or something?

I think I read somewhere that third party deals are limited to 60k these days.
Grasping at straws here(haha) but maybe the ARU top up goes if you go to western Force you get X amount of dollars but if you sign with queensland or NSW you get X + Y amount of dollars.
Realistically questions should have been asked about the Tahds squad coming under the salary cap before the reds re-signings this year.
Or maybe they just want to stay home.

Thats quite an impressive squad isn't itbut a few flaws in your argument..
Harris, F'Sautia, Shipperly, Davies, Frisbee and Seuteni haven't re-signed for 2013, granted having a halves combo of Genia-Cooper makes it more attractive for a outside back to remain though.
So the real question is, why aren't the Force making more of an effort to sign some of these players, like F'Sautia, Frisbee or Seuteni?
