    I woul think so, it was done in the last couple of weeks of the preseason IIRC Pulver didn't start until just about the opener.

    Whether it was finally signed by one or the other is pretty immaterial, it generally takes weeks to swing a deal like that.......months in cases like JOC

    The Izzy deal and the Quade deal were both carrots to the QRU/NSWRU so they would sign off on the constituinal change at the ARU.. Both unions has issues with the ARU at the time, these players were both signed and the following week the governance review was approved by the unions...

    It wasn't a coincidence...

    I'm gonna play devil's advocate here. Because I suspect you are on the money. Are you privvy to any information that confirms that "coincidence" ? Or are you just suspicious of all the similar seemingly corrupt signings that have been going on for years?
