Interesting that the net isn't cast widely enough to include Matt Hodgson (probably fair with the number of blokes in the country playing his position) or Pek Cowan (bloody travesty IMHO)
I can excuse the absense of Hodgo if Link's looking towards the next World Cup, but:
    a) I reckon he'd be worth a spot in the training squad at least, and
    b) shouldn't we look to win the Rugby Championship first!

With Pek, I wonder whether that tour when he had to convert to a hooker has soured him in the mind of the selectors for good. Hardly Pek's fault, but I can't recall him getting a sniff since then. (Although I'm quite prepared to be proved wrong!)

Chuck Norris has the greatest Poker-Face of all time. He won the 1983 World Series of Poker, despite holding only a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.

It is a shame because Godwin would have been a perfect fit at #12 in a side with those players around him I would have thought. Lilo wasn't very impressive in the Lions series. I thought Speight was eligible now?

Saw Quade Cooper on Rugby HQ last night.

Never really liked him much, especially when he was spouting all that "toxic" bullshizzle before.

Was talking sense last night, looks like maybe he's pulled his head in and turned the corner. Lets hope so.

1 tosser done, 2 to go

Ooops sorry, forgot to delete them!

Note the original post said no oxygen thieves from the Force!

I personally think the HB and Maddness need to start, but I'm a little one eyed!

Badger needs to start! One of the things missing from that team is a genuine winger. Nick was in the squad, but couldn't make the team and we suffered.

If Nick Cummins gets a good run under McKenzie in the rugby championship surely this is a good sign that he will commit to the force for another 2 or 3 years.

    I hope anyway

Badger made a big difference in our last game against the ponies. He brings intensity and you know he will have a serious crack at the line - no lack of balls that lad

Just come back from a great meal and discussing Super 15 as you do.
Well Mrs Snob says what's HB doing next year?
SA associate says playing for the Sharks!
I laughed. But then.....they aren't stupid those Rockies!

Cowan was considered at hooker on the 2009 tour. He played a couple of dismal games in 2010 for the Force at hooker. But he still made the 2010 and 2011 Wallabies. His disadvantage is that Benn Robinson is considered a better all round player and before this year where the extended bench has come in we have needed a tight head prop on the bench. Unfortunately, at the moment the pecking order is probably something like Robinson, Slipper, Cowan on the loosehead side.
