In all seriousness Bobby, if you have left your best twenty players behind then by definition you are a B Grade team!
Fair call about not counting your chickens, but it would also be a bit gutless to come out after the match and say we were only playing a B Grade side.

Skinstad hits back at claims

SOUTH Africa captain Bob Skinstad claims his half-baked tourists are bristling over the hurtful barbs fired in the countdown to Saturday night's Test against Australia.

The Boks have been written off after leaving 20 frontline players at home for their final two Tri-Nations matches.

But Skinstad revealed the incentive provided by critics has only steeled his side.

"If it doesn't serve as motivation then I've brought over corpses," he said.

"We're a competitive bunch even in cards or touch rugby. (That'll help...) Everything we do, all of us want to perform.

"Quite clearly this is not the No.1 squad. It's not as if I have a leg to stand on there.

"But tagging guys as B-grade is often better done after a result rather than before the event."

Skinstad said sealing a World Cup berth is another over-riding incentive for all 28 players on the tour.

"If we're reading right that the 20 guys left behind are in preparation for a World Cup, then there's 10 spots left for the rest of us."
