Great seat and position but they have wasted their money on the sound system because down on ground level E127 you couldn't hear a thing.

About the same as our seats at Subi, but higher. Elevation will take a bit of getting used to; felt a bit remote from it all.

I was in 229 and the way the sound system started I was worried I might never hear again...

Also in 229. Ditto with the sound - seems like the ref was having a few issues with it too..

E130 no better, gave up trying to hear through the garbled mess and concentrated on watching rugby old school.

Took all of halftime and four minutes of second half to get a beer, shame it wasn't four minutes of the other end of the second half really.

Disappointed? Or just different Andy? How are the stairs getting up there? Did your dad go ok? And are they wide enough

The new stand was good, completely open at the back leading to food/beverage outlets with pretty much a view of the game. When they sort out service and stuff, that will be pretty cool!

I am in the back row of E126 and I have no issues with the seat, it is great. The sound system is crap, the big screens are fantastic and the food and beverage outlets I gave up on and went without. Once it is all completed I think it will be better especially if they get some staff and not 10 year old kids at $2.50 and hour.

Up high (Row Y) the sound system was VERY bloody loud, esp in the lead up. Seats much better for my wide arse than previous, view is excellent. I have an aisle seat and must have seen a dozen people stumble as they climbed up towards the top. Several oldies were really struggling for breath during the climb

Thought we would of had a better turn out than we got last night.
It's hard to drum up support when the media keep crapping on about the AFL western derby.

I loved the new stadium and my seat in E127, but agree about the sound system.

I reckon the staff did a really good job given that the BBQ terrace (or whatever it's called) was so far from being finished.

Got a bit annoyed though when trying to chat over a beer on the BBQ terrace with a friend from another section but kept being told we couldn't stand still and chat we could only walk up and down or go to our seats!

Yeah I was a bit disappointed with the turn out too, especially after the Reds win and with it being a new stadium. Guess the darby could have had a bit to do with it.
