On behalf of Jono I will take the half page to the quiz night to give to coach, who can then hand it on to me, I'll dutifully hand them to myself who will take them home, giving them back to me for collation and a final count.

TIF was telling me someone was saying on Friday night that the original petition in support of a Super 14 team when it was first mooted attracted something like15,000 sigs- so 8,500 collected by about 10 people looks like a great effort dudes!! Congrats!
Coach had a chat with Bob on Friday, he often looks here at TWF and he was keen to get on board with the petition. Mr House was also there and Jedi was in his ear. I'm sure they'll let you know soon what they spoke about.

Bugger... it's never good when it turns out one's recollection of events when you were driving home is still hazy....

Good morning campers, isn't it a wonderful day.
I was posting to ensure everybody was up to speed with the handover of the petition tomorrow.
Hope you've all arranged for the morning off work n stuff.
I've just recieved confirmation from Barry House, he's able to make our posted 10:00 am start time but will need to shoot thru about 10:30 and has proposed we look at 9:30. I don't know if the media will be flexible enough for us to move the start of the speeches etc, but really I reckon we can chat with Barry for 1/2 an hour, run out to the steps for the handover, I make the speech, we all shake hands...lots of happy snaps and Barry's out by 10:30 we're available to talk if the media want to hang around.
That means meeting at the steps of Parliament House BEFORE 9:30 so we can meet with Barry. We should be well and truly done and dusted by 11:00.
I propose a petition chat tonight to tie up the final threads, and make sure there aren't any holes.
Ex, how's the media contingent faring? I have had contact with 6PR who will be interviewing me either today or tomorrow but won't be present at the handover.
