It's obvious the malaise doesn't just stem from Anthony Siebold's tenure.
Milford has had all natural talent coached out of him at the Broncos, Matt Lodge can't make a tackle outside of a New York apartment.
Is it the Wayne Bennett kiss of death because every club he has left has struggled immediately afterward?
I didn't want clog up the other thread with this but following in from your post Shasta - The Reece Robson sin bin is worse than the one last week, absolutely farcical. Even the ref sounded like he didn't want to do it afterwards.
The comment in the other thread was mainly me saying expecting consistency is futile. How TF Kline can sin bin Taukiaho when Cleary slips, goes down feet first and is contacted a foot off the ground, says "no mitigation". then only awards a penalty for a coat hanger on Cleary is impossible to fathom. In both cases Cleary was not hurt at all.![]()
Didn't see any of the Panthers vs Roosters game - I thought it purely about the rubbish sin bin in the Cowboys game.
Then again it sound similar, Tolman was legit 3 feet of the deck and Robson was almost in a three point stance to tackle him around the legs.
These "stories" have a habit of trotting out at Origin time. The other player of the moment "stolen" by RL is Cameron Murray. Both played RL in their junior years before switching to Rugby in their senior years at GPS schools - on scholarships I'd guess. Murray has had a signature on Souths stationery since about 13yo. I think both are capable. But it is a big step-up with only schools Rugby experience.
One of my interests is seeing how players handle switching codes. So, even though I'd not like Freddie's Blues to lose either one just now, I'd be interested to see how they would go.
Wallabies legend says it’s ‘now or never’ for getting Origin star back to rugby.
Wallabies legend Tim Horan has declared it is a case of “now or never” if Rugby Australia are serious about luring returning NSW Origin star Angus Crichton back to the 15-man game.

Breaking News: The NZ Government has suspended the bubble and declared that Auckland is no longer in Queensland.

One area not mentioned a lot is how many of the Blues best players find the ground so quickly and generate an up-tempo game. Teddy, Turbo, Sifiti to name a few. Queensland just can't go with them ATM. Conversely our middle boys hold them up in the tackle most of the time.

I'm glad Kafusi kept those receipts from game 1.
Shame he tried to use those receipts to try and exchange something he got at Best and Less for something at David Jones.
Reynolds & Walker?
Or
Moses & Wighton?

Mitchell Moses is the biggest downhill skier in the comp so hopefully NSW lead early.
Reynolds and Walker would have been my pick, link with Cook and Latrell at club level.
