As much as we have hammered them it looks like the recruiters have done pretty well. They didn't get the world class #12 we wanted but if the above is true plus Goosen, Matthewson, Alcock, SNT and others they have done alright, gives us hope for next year.

Perhaps you meant Eberson and SNK??

Rory Walton spent 2011 in the Brumbies Academy (Non Professional) he was listed as 192cm and 115kg. Originally NSW Country player. PLayed Shute Shield with Norths. Brumby Academy in 2011 had good Locks Cayden Neville, Sam Carter, Tom Alexander and Adam Coleman

Had a brief Twitter 'convo' with Smithy again yest and he really wants to come back and play for the Force! (Speaking hypothetically since I'm not in charge of recruitment sadly!), would there be any way to fit him into the squad in 2013 or 14? Could he only be brought in as a marquee signing?

unless the aru allow us to bring in another marquee signing he will have to wait till 2014 as we now have mathewson signed up for 2 years.

But didnt the ARU allow another marquee? We had a marquee (Alby) and a development (Sias), so Smith is the second marquee?

I always thought a marqee player could only be signed.for 1 year - but can be extended for a max of another 1
