I'd like to see Alby Mathewson at the Force but how long would it be for? I'd say one season only. We have to accept that we won't be big performers next season so why take a stop gap option. We've got Sheehan. If it is true that Holmes is available, sign both him and Turner. Both Holmes and Turner have the potential to be very good scrum-halves. We need to start building for the future.
I'd actually like to see Josh Holmes seriously tried at 12. He's got the distribution and running game from being a scrum half. He's a solid 95kgs. Don't know what his kicking is like. It's a real shame we don't have something like the ARC to try that one out.

Josh Holmes played a bit at 10 at Sydney club rugby i believe. That is all.
He definitely played a game or two at 12 for Warringah while Brett Sheehan was the starting 9. He might have for the Waratahs too.

Looking at the Shute Shield line-ups and Josh Holmes played 12 for Warringah this weekend. Richard Brown was at 8 and Brett Sheehan at 9.

The south of Wales is no place for a back
The fast flintstone fields of WA will help reignite his career.
At least he will be well coached on kicking for the corners and the up and under
Controversy corner
We have some real Recruitment strategists on here.
WF have a squad full of loose forwards, now people want to fill the rest of the squad with halfbacks.
Sheehan, Mathewson (if he signs) and one other player....not JT. Not only is JT always injured, but what has he ever done. He does not have the game to dominate at S15 level, so time to move on.
I think people want JT to stay around because he's a West Australian.
Ideally we'd like the Force to be successful with a team full of Sandgropers, but in the meantime I'd take successful first - a successful team will generate more interest in the youngsters, which will generate more players and a better player base from which to eventually get our WA squad.
A fit JT has the potential to be successful. He deserves an EPS slot at the very least.

How long will he hand around in the EPS, though? Plus, that only lets him play when there are injuries ahead of him, not when he is injury-free.
