Rabbit will be spewing he missed out on a team piss up
Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.

Im in two minds. I think the lads should be allowed to cut it rough after a big win, on a designated day off, but... If link had set a disciplined limit on the amount of piss to be drank, and the players stepped over that line, then he has done exactly what was required.
every was on Deans' case, including me, about lack of discipline, and McKz has done something to say "no, this wont go under the rug"
sad to see Badger in the mix, but, hopefully it will be the best thing for team behaviour.
Maybe it's me being too cynical but I can't help but think "How do you rest players without it looking like you're resting players?"
If McKenzie rested those 'banned' players and then lost to Scotland he'd be on the plane back to Oz in no time. But.. if he 'bans' them for drinking it's a win - win.
He looks like he's being tough
He gets to 'rest' those players in the lead up to the Welsh game.
I Australia lose to Scotland it's becuase they didn't have the first team playing.
He can't lose.
Like the JOC scenario we have not heard the players side of the story and like everyone says there is always two sides if not more to the story.
Seeing Drew Mitchells tweet could he be suggesting someone may have set them up by spilling the beans?
Simon Cron: “People talk about winning and losing all the time and they are critical, but there’s a process to get into and it’s the ability to stay present, do your job and execute skills under pressure.”
They weren't set up. They were out till the early hours of Wednesday morning, which is just ridiculous 3 days out from an international game. Sure let your hair down, but sat or sunday night like the rest of us. And if they were really that desperate for a night on the p*ss, they have a quiet little party in their hotel room where Joe Public won't spot them.
see AAC's mum was a bit miffed that hes being tarred as a boozer...

I am surprised to see Benny Mac caught up in it, given his attitude and public comments regarding the possibility of the Force signing O'Connor.
Not surprised to see Cummins there, as one of the worse culprits.
It's the Honeybadger way....Honeybadger don't care

I'm not surprised Benny Mac was involved- he wasn't even named to play Ireland.
I don't see all of this as being that big a deal. We want players to be in peak physical condition. That generally doesn't mean heavy drinking or staying up very late in the lead up to a test match. It was poor form during the Lions series and it is poor form now. This was a good move by McKenzie. Just as changing the captain was. We don't want a situation where we are selecting an out of form player (R. Elsom anyone?) just because he is the captain. Mowen has done a good enough job.
Yes, players were given varying degrees of punishment, but there could be numerous factors in that: How late they came home, how drunk they were when they came home, whether or not they are a senior member of the Wallabies team and should be setting the example, whether or not similar behaviour has occurred in the past.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
Where are all the little red nose boys.... Maybe Link has a split team and only tells the red Nose QLDers what he wants and the rest have to be mind readers
I do like the Hard line taken but it does look very suspicous
