The Australian is supposed to be a national paper though - the West I can understand, its just a crap newspaper, pure and simple.
I enjoy the Force coverage in both the West and the Sunday Times - they are both starting to get more in depth and the hint of criticism is starting - judging by the amount of AFL in both papers I doubt very much if either editor is a fan of rugby which is good for us as we will eventually get a more gutsy comment on events as opposed to the slightly glossy version (lets teach the AFL fans about rugby) we are getting at the minute
Profess unbiased journalism is dead - mass media is controlled by bean counters who rely on ratings and membership numbers and the sponsorship dollar - don't think rugby is quite big enough to encounter such scrutiny yet
