And therein lies the problem not just for the Force but Aus teams in general.
All those Kiwi coaches were coaching (I stand to be corrrected) professional or at least semi-professional outfits before they went to Super Rugby.
We don't have either the professional outfits or the coaches. (OK so Bernie is proving me wrong but he's the exception to the rule)
How embarrassing is this possibility. We were the first to lose to the Kings and could be the first to lose to the Sunwolves.
It needs to be someone that is feared in the board room as well as in the changing room
You can't compare NZ coaching setups to AUS as they have the support of the NZRFU and are a united front reguardless of results the support is solid between all franchises
Rennie had Wellington NPC and Nz under 20s and baby sat by wayne smith
Boyd has had Wellington NPC and results varied but still supported
Hammett took Cains with reasonable results on the field but terrible attitude off and turned it around handing the platform to Boyd who I would see as plumtrees puppet
Hammett left of his own volition and is moulding a team from nothing into a side that is enjoying itself and entertaining its fans
Kirwan supported by NZRFU until he worked it out himself
This is not a franchise that can live in hope anymore it needs a top line figure head from Australia
The ARU.should be working this out behind the scenes and sinderberry should be begging for support behind the scences otherwise you should shut it down
