Brache is having a shocka
Great game, Fucken battled right through to the 80!
Agreed.
Tapuai looks pretty crocked after that try. Pulled a hammy?
Prior has added a lot of pace to our breakdown recycle.
So what was the final score?
Same shit different year
CHEERLEADERS ROCK!!!
Definitely saw the new game plan, but I don't think "everybody run to the same touchline and pass it the same direction" is going to unlock many defences in this competition.
It never did in under 10s and I suspect that's a pretty good indication
C'mon the
Watching the game on tv, appeared to me that we weren't attacking the breakdown anywhere near as much in past years. It probably comes with trying to play a more expansive game. Dumbfounded as to why Masiwera wasn't brought on earlier especially when we were camped on their 22 and needed a linebreak for the try.
Just thankful that the git wearing 9 for the rabble just kicked the ball out to give us a BP, when they should have pushed for a try and BP for them.
positives. DHP had a great game, lineout was probably better than all last season combined. That's all I got for now
It was good to seeing them play some rugby. The old rule applies though....must go forward before you go wide. They played 20m or more behind the gain line all night ran sideways and pushed the pass. It was a drop-a-thon. You don't win games when you give them the ball all night. And a special mention goes to Trans Perth for having no trains to the match 20 mins before kickoff. I had to run to the ground from Perth holding a 6 year old commando style with two others doing a cross metro Bear Grylls survival chase. Lucky Im still well hard. The beers will be awesome after the 3 hour trip home. Dryer Than a dead dingo's donger. Well the rugby was better than usual but it looks like another long season.
The Baby Faced Assasin
I've seen us play a lot worse - many times. Line out was very good, scrum solid and I like the attacking intent, although obviously trying to throw the miracle 1% pass at the end is not clever and we cleaned that up more in the second half. Turnovers and the impotency at the ruck killed us. Fixing the turnovers a no brainer and I credit the Rabble with having controlled the ruck excellently - very impressed with how they managed the breakdown.
All in all, disappointed we lost but not nearly as disappointed as many games last year, we will win some games this year, hopefully a few at home.
I'm a big fan. However, I thought his positioning on attack was a little off tonite. There were a few occasions where an extra man comitting a defender could've made a line break and he didn't read it right The Rebels are a well drilled side and the boys were not too far off the pace. They will need a good result next week to keep the hopes up thpugh.
Dreadful.
Only positives line out and scrum.
smashed at the breakdown. So many basic errors, unsupported runners, losing the ball in contact, going wide to early.
Pretty much looked like a foley coached team.
Left the the ground furious.
Now Jeansy, give them their due; they didn't even look like missing a tackler...
