no. 8, would love to mate but unfortunately will be flat out chasing cattle up here I think.
Regardless of the standard of the ground (I have never been but obviously RugbyWA feel it to be suitable) I think it is a great initiative to be moving these standard of matches around the Metro area and, who knows, before long we may see some lesser fixtures in the country centres as well.

Thanks Egan....your right...my obvious sarcasm was missed..
hahahahaha
Good news for you Egan! I have it from good authority that you won't have to travel all the way up to Joondalup to catch the Japanese teams in action. My super grass tells me that both Yamaha and Toshiba will be playing night games at a certain (superior) south of the river venue to be announced next week. These will be midweek games on the 12th July and 16th August against a W.F.Academy outfit and a reinforced Gold combination.Stay tuned.

Politics and Sport - gotta love it!
You'd all better get your South of the River bashing pants washed and ready to wear ...
Hmm I will be going to Crapoondalup, but I will be kicking and screaming...haven't missed a pre-season or regular season game of the Force and aren't planning to yet either!
Just hope I don't get killed by those crazy Crapoondalup drivers.
Thank god the Rugby is back on the calander.
want me to pick you up at the station Egan??? I have a red ute...it goes fast....it even had a radio..
Wont be getting there till 7:55pm at train station (coming from Mandurah after the Peel game)...plus I couldn't deal with sitting in the traffic that will be outside the ground - sprint it is, trying not to get run over like last time I went to Arena.Originally Posted by travelling_gerry
Should only arrive 10 mins late...wouldn't arrive late at all if it was held somewhere closer to the city - eg Leederville Oval.
Thanks for the offer though.
thats ok Egan....I'll buy you a beer or 6 after the game to settle your nerves
You know Egan you really need to build a bridge and get over it. A wise man once said "If you dont have anything nice to say about someone, dont say anything at all."Originally Posted by Egan

It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! I have nothing against the area or taking games around the metro area or even taking them to the country. I would just like to see a game from close to the sidelines which you can't do at an AFL ground.Originally Posted by no.8
After seeing games at Ballymore, Suncorp and Aussie stadium, it just isn't right watching them at Subi. So if we are going to have these "Smaller" games, I think that the best option would be to go to a rectangular stadium when we can.
gee, a taxi, a mobile bottle'o, a bookie, a butcher ... the list is running short on what you don't do gerry!!!Originally Posted by travelling_gerry

Exile, I just couldn't waste the opportunity to spread my Joondalup Propaganda.
It had to be said.
Sorry for the whinge thread...
