Ron says it is unviable (although he repeats that the Force refused the 25,000 seat stadium, which is finally reported in the mainstream press).
But Allia said they had no idea how MES is not viable

MES should be upgraded to 40,000 upon getting the World Cup. Good luck getting money from the Feds...
"The main difference between playing League and Union is that now I get my hangovers on Monday instead of Sunday - Tom David
Well since it is worth about $68,000 an hour for us to rent it, that should make it worth about $59.5 mill per year.
I know this is probaly unfair, and I don't know if the rent charged to us includes the ground staff, cleanup etc. But if these costs were deducted (if they are included) and we could get to just venue hire it is a reasonable way of argueing what the WA gov is subsidising AFL facilities.
Makes Ron look like an idiot. Damn good thinking Shasta.
This announcement has just made my Christmas. Finally RugbyWA have told the Stadia Task Force, WAFC and the AFL that Rugby won't be bending over a barrel. Just to make it even more special the ARU is adding their weight to: "ARU chief John O’Neill will be in Perth next month to lobby the Government over its 2004 promise for a new stand at Members Equity Stadium."

Go The Force!
Not at all Swannie - its a simple fact of TWF that;
1.patrons under the banner of the InnFORCErs have, since the inception of the Western Force been the best organised group of Western Force Supporters.
2.is a sponsor of TWF and has been for a very long time.
3. Management and staff ofhave been members of TWF for a long period of time as well.
Swannie - if you have a watering hole that is willing to show support to TWF I would have to suggest that you get them to contact Coach.

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa

This is a positive , hopefully JON will make on impact and we can get 21,000 in 2010.
There are sadly plenty of people I know ( and it has been mentioned over and over here) that won't by season tickets as Subi is a joke for watching Rugby
