Devastated. Was genuinely thinking that all the speculation was just speculation.
It is what it is though. Not going to begrudge the bloke for going regardless of his reasons. As much as I want to Ive got nothing. He had every reason to leave.
God I hope we get a decent coach soon or we're fucked
If he's gone, he's gone!.... There's nothing gonna change that, it does concern me the lack of good news from rugbywa media department at The moment!.. Social media is a pretty big deal now adays but twf seems to be the only place to get force news, the powers that be seem to be more interested in using social media for telling us who's birthday it is, whos rooming with who, or which player had a shave today!... Fk it's frustrating!... I did like the costa Concordia reference, it's not often a captain leaves the ship!.... Onwards once again...will we renew our membership?.... Yuuuuuuup!... Hodgo for captain!....
You mean like this?

"Bloody oath we did!"
Nathan Sharpe, Legend.
Burgs they could of put that up a month ago!... Because lets be serious, they've known as long as us he's off to the brumbies!..

coz Stone Cold says so
I've got some really mixed emotions on this. I know he is supposed to be a good bloke and he has to make the best decision for his rugby future. Plus our administration has clearly failed to lay out an exciting future (still no coach etc) - that tends towards wishing him well, as many have done in this, and other threads.
However, we are at our lowest ebb and our captain and best player just dumped us. The Force has done a shitload for David and in our darkest hour to date he could have been a shining light saying we do have a positive future. Instead he bailed, and no matter how you look at it, this just drives the club further down. Regardless of the justifications he has given, it's pretty hard to forgive.
Let's hope there is only one way to go from here.
Good point Alison - further heightens the need for an inspirational coach who can lift players and supporters out of the doldrums we are in.
