Hope everyone is keeping cool in this post-Christmas heat wave.

We're keeping cool but unfortunately that's because we've been in hospital with Jedi Jnr since Christmas morning! Please keep him in your thoughts as he fights this latest battle (he's had way too many battles so far in his 23mths ).

A big shout out to the St John ambos down here in the south-west as well as everyone who had to work the last couple of days; especially those at Bunbury hospital.

Thanks for all your best wishes. Jedi Jnr is now home. These 40C days aren't helping & our portable air-cons are just about making the house bearable. We have installation of 'proper' air-con booked for te New Year so we're just trying to get through until then.

Our wee fella was 6wks premmie & has been playing catch up for the last 23 months. He doesn't handle the heat well & is more susceptible to illness & bugs. This combination causes him to have seizures; very hard on his wee body & very traumatic for his parents.

We've come down to Dunsborough today to visit friends who have a lovely cool house & air-con. I think they might be seeing a bit of us over the next few days!
