Hear what you are saying, but, well...there was that time they had to sell the license....
That certainly would have had a hell of an impact on how the last 12 months would have played out. I hope you are right, but in practice I guess only he knows what he meant. We'll see I suppose.
I got bored - did some research. Google and Wikipedia are my friends.
Wikipedia told me "Forrest was educated at Onslow Primary School[10] and through the School of the Air before moving to Perth to attend Christ Church Grammar School and then Hale School.[16] He stuttered as a child,[10] which is how he came to develop a relationship with Ian Black, whose father Scotty, an Aboriginal,[17] became Forrest's mentor. Forrest went on to the University of Western Australia[18] where he majored in economics and politics.[19]"
So I then searched Hale School Year Book for 1979 and found this

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
He finished year 12 at Hale after being expelled from CCGS
Was in my brother's year
The long sobs of autumn's violins wound my heart with a monotonous languor
Sinderberry has said twiggy has been involved in the background. Maybe after such a special game and performance they decided to reveal his involvement? Or
He was waiting to see that the Force could turn it around on and off field as a good businessman would
or
He enjoyed one too many full strengths in the corporate box and got carried away.

Why, I was drinking Lion beer in Sri Lanka only last week, Ex.
And besides, Coronas was all Westie could afford after his run of bad luck on the g-gees.
What a TOP article-well written! And good to see that he's not going to just be handing out the dough. The community still need to prove the stand and buy the shares. So Buy those bloody Stickers people-no slacking!
The knock on effect of Twiggy's speech on Saturday has been huge, if nothing else it has put us in the spotlight.
On Sunday night I had a call from my father in South Africa asking who was that man and what was happening at the end of the game.
Yesterday I was wearing a Force shirt at the gym and someone said I see Twiggy is getting behind you and by the way where are the Western Force Based. He did not know much about us but knew Twiggy was getting behind us, you just cannot buy that kind of publicity.
Last night on 6PR sports Tony Horwarth, who was interviewed in the light of Twiggy's speech, intimated that Twiggy has been hovering in the background for a while supporting us, and felt it was now time to approach the ARU to get a constructive outcome rather than a destructive outcome out current events.
Simon Cron: “People talk about winning and losing all the time and they are critical, but there’s a process to get into and it’s the ability to stay present, do your job and execute skills under pressure.”
We made the ABC news two nights in a row when was the last time that happened.
Generally speaking you aren’t learning much if your lips are moving!!!
