I Hope It isn't Henjak but hey who else is it likely to be?
War is Gods may of teaching Americans Geography
ABC news just said that Henjak "apparently" hit Sare leaving him with a "suspected" broken jaw and due to the nature of his injuries Sare won't be going to South africa but Henjak is still expected to go.
I can't believe how many different stories there are between the different news programs!!
What a great start to the season - not!!!!!!
Nothing on the ABC site or the local rugby sites. It has made planet-rugby.com though. Congratulations boys we've hit the international news for all the wrong reasons again.
Hope we get a statement soon from the local union to explain what happened and stop all the conjecture.
.... bloody HELL....

it is the courage to continue that counts.

Broken down...not sure what you mean but sounds like you condone violence?
So you reckon its ok for a player to break his team mates jaw? Do you like supporting players that assault people? you are an interesting character (or is that sad) if you do.
Mate, I'm pissed off. I just paid for membership and I'm sick of reading bad news all the time
We dont have any mgt as they've all been sacked or quit. Arent the bloody alarm bells ringing now?
Time to get a tough ceo, a disciplined coach and some players that respect...as the great Ali G says....respect!
Cheers
I'm tipping Haig's jaw isn't swinging in the breeze by its last thread and from experience it normally takes two to tango.
There are some Coach's that are never happier than when players are bashing the bejeezus out of each other pre-season, admittedly on the training paddock and without the injury or publicity.
Maybe we should leave the judgement on this one to their peers???
"Bloody oath we did!"
Nathan Sharpe, Legend.
maybe it was self defence on Matt Henjaks behalf??
highly unlikely but possible.
Geez Burg. You sound like a force media manager.
Of course it wasnt Henjak's fault. He acted in self defence. In fact it would have been the barmans fault for feeding him 2 may drinks on the night.
In fact its everyone elses fault. I reckon we could even blame henjaks cleaner! Yes, that it. She didnt clean up his mess, so he was forced to go to the pub, get drunk and beat up a team mate!
And yeah, great idea. Lets leave it to the players to make a public statement. They acted pretty honestly over the quokka matter.
Mate my point is Honesty beats the crap out of lies and deception any day. If the players lie and the force management lie, they deserve what they get.
sounds like your grasping at straws TOCC
Refunds.
refunds may be granted prior to the first Super 14 match in 2008, less an administration charge.... all request must be submitted in writing..........
youve got 3/4 days to get your letter in, im so sorry that you seem to be so upset by all the previous bad headlines....
Where have they lied mate? If they were lying this wouldn't have come out would it? Go back to reading SMH or supporting the Weagles if you can't handle a little biffo, it just shows how pumped up the boys are for the coming season. Remember this is a contact game, tempers are flared, and they know how to throw a punch, not the shirt tugging you see in AFL. Bring on the season, Henners or not!
Good one you slomo. Glad to see you stick with the boys no matter what. We all need supporters like you to support players like this. Gosh it makes me proud.
Let me guess, you're abig Ben cousins fan too...
making friends fast i see blackadder
welcome to TWF
Bloody hell! This is all over news in Bris. Apparently Henjak smashed Sare at a hotel late at night. Sare been in hospital with broken jaw. Not good form to smash youre own team mate in a pub...and pissed probably too.
You reckon thats fair enough behaviour, hey slomo? Mate, Id prefer to not have players and team mates that DONT get pissed and break their own team mates jaw.
I'm with blackadder (good one) on this. This is bullshit. This is the ultimate test of force management - if they dont sack someone over this, then you're effectively condoning this behaviour.
No wonder connolly didnt want to know the guy.
