Great win. The most pleasing aspects were vast improvements in the two areas that have exasperated me most this year - patience with the ball in hand and being able to close out a game in the final minutes. Well done lads.

Great win! But they do make you sweat out the last few minutes! The scrums are still looking very dodgy or was that just against the Bulls? Some of the kicking again was aimless and not very tactical but we were luck to force a few mistakes. I just hope we dont kick at the Saders the same way because they will run it back at full speed and are bound to do some damage.
Well done boys lets do the same again next week.
May the FORCE be with you!
What was Lawrence going on about to Sharpey at the end of the match (1st vid)?

I think he was telling him that we still had to take the penalty.
When it was awarded the guys went apeshit and even the Fox cameras came running onto the field.
Ripia went off to the side and kicked the ball into the stands and Bryce whistled the official end.
Having not seen the match bit hard to know circumstances (ie is someone injured or just speculating?)
In the current Squad you have Pek Cowan as a short term replacement and Siliva "Spit" Siliva in the mix.
From there you fall right back to the Academy Level 2 (not suggesting you would use them, to young and still developing) with Josh Eisentrager, Harry Scoble, Richard Cooper and John Vanderwielen all in the next wave.
If there is an injury I would suggest they would go into a match with Siliva on the bench and Cowan getting 30 minutes to start then going back on where required for the last 20. Meanwhile the scouts would be frantically combing the streets of Rugbyville for a replacement if it was/is a long term injury.

Ben Whittaker - collar bone injury - dislocation or fracture suspected, scans today
Oh ok, bugger.
Well I imagine the Scouts are on the plane as we speak...

James O'Connor would have some mental disability if he left this team. He's found a brilliant 10 adn 13 to play with allowing him the flash the magic boots around, he's got a forward pack giving quality ball and a decent pay check at the end of the week. That huge grin on his little face after the game - I reckon he'll say. I'll put my vMoney on the line to say it (hint hint Gerry)
Paddy Dellit - what a find! Enjoyed Jono Jenkins, a quiet little achiever. Longbottom starting for mine. Shame Swanepol didn't get on.
Pretty stoked. Bring it Crusaders
A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

I like Sheehan but jesus he is the slowest recycler of a ball going around. By the time he gets it out the defence has set.
Cut the lip and get the ball out. Sledge after the trys are scored.
There are at least 12 short term replacements for hooker in club land, if the force selectors were prepared to pull their heads out of their proverbial and look around,
Just as there were wingers and centres available recently, when they chose instead to buy a few mercenary journeymen on short term contracts.
The Force administration should be exposed for what they are, incompetent, with absolutely no rugby knowledge whatsoever.
You know that isn't going to happen Fulv.
